1. OPERATING ENTITY & ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the ordering, purchase, and delivery of handcrafted traditional sweets and related services from MANOHORA ("We", "Us", "Our"), operating from Shibnagar, Lotus Club Gali, Agartala, West Tripura, Tripura - 799001, India (FSSAI License No. 22524051000435). By placing an order, browsing our menu, or using this website, you explicitly agree to be bound by these Terms, in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
2. HANDCRAFTED ARTISANAL SWEETS & FRESHNESS STANDARDS
• 100% Traditional Preparation: All sweets are freshly handcrafted in daily small batches using authentic Bengali heritage recipes, pure cow milk chhana, ghee, and unadulterated natural ingredients without artificial chemical preservatives.
• Consumption & Storage Guidelines:
- Fresh Chhana & Milk Sweets (e.g. Kheerer Sandesh, Narkel Sandesh, Kheer Apel, Chirar Puli): Must be refrigerated immediately upon receipt and consumed within 24 to 48 hours for optimal flavor and texture.
- Dry Sweets, Fritters & Laddus (e.g. Taler Bora, Badam Laddu, Muger Laddu, Chirar Moya, Dry Fruits Laddu): Keep in a cool, dry place in an airtight container and consume within 7 to 15 days.
• Allergen Advisory: Our kitchen crafts sweets containing dairy (milk, chhana, mawa, ghee), tree nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios), peanuts, wheat (gluten), and spices (cardamom, saffron, fennel). Customers with severe food allergies must review product ingredients prior to ordering.
3. PRICING, ORDERING & TWO-STEP VERIFICATION
• Pricing Currency: All item prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR ₹) inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Delivery & Special Packaging: Delivery charges are calculated transparently based on delivery destination/pincode and confirmed by our team. Store Pickup at our Shibnagar counter is always free of delivery charge.
• Two-Step Verification: Orders are confirmed using WhatsApp or Email OTP to safeguard against fake bookings and protect customer contact accuracy.
4. ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY (5-HOUR WINDOW)
• Perishable Food Cancellation: Because our sweets are handcrafted fresh to order each morning, cancellation requests must be submitted within 5 hours of order placement via our Cancellation Portal (?page=cancel-order).
• Non-Cancellable Orders: Once an order enters kitchen preparation, packaging, or has been dispatched with delivery runners, online cancellation cannot be accepted.
5. RETURNS, REPLACEMENTS & REFUNDS
• Perishable Food Non-Returnability: Under FSSAI hygiene and food safety guidelines, food products once delivered cannot be returned.
• Damaged or Incorrect Orders: If your sweet box arrives damaged, leaking, compromised in transit, or with missing items, please notify our team within 24 hours of delivery with a clear photograph via ?page=support or WhatsApp (+91 9774154874).
• Refund Resolution: Validated complaints will receive an immediate free replacement or a full refund processed to the original source within 5 to 7 working days.
6. CUSTOMER CONDUCT & ORDER INTEGRITY
Customers agree to provide accurate, complete delivery addresses, reachable WhatsApp/phone numbers, and prompt coordination upon delivery arrival. MANOHORA is not liable for delivery failures resulting from incorrect addresses or unreachable contact numbers.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All brand names, trademarks, logos, photographs, confectionery descriptions, and website design assets are the exclusive intellectual property of MANOHORA and protected under Indian copyright and trademark laws.
8. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal dispute or claim arising from orders or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Agartala, West Tripura, India.
